The LED Project Podcast Welcomes Motivated By Brett
Last Thursday, I had the honor of being a guest, on the The LED Project Podcast. LED, which stands for, Lighthouse Educator Development, is a 501c/3 nonprofit with the mission of inspiring teachers to add value to the teaching craft.
Founders of LED, Kyle Krueger and Wilkie V. Law III, who are both educators themselves, also host a weekly podcast specially designed to motivate and inspire their fellow teachers. On each episode, Kyle and Wilkie discuss struggles, success stories, and current events facing the teaching profession.
As a guest on the LED Project Podcast, I was excited to share my advice for teachers who struggle with energy and the motivation to stay fit. As someone who also has a job that requires motivating and inspiring people all day, I can relate to the exhausted feeling that comes after a non-stop day of giving and helping others. I also discuss why in 2016, I decided to move my workouts to first thing in the morning, even though I was not a “morning person,” and the effect this has had on my daily energy. Kyle was a great host and really challenged me by asking some difficult questions. Questions like what is the greatest advice I have ever received and what I want my “legacy” to be.
Please give my episode a listen by clicking HERE and let me know what you think. Also, please share this LED Podcast episode with any teachers you may know to help spread the word of this great podcast!
